Meet the newest Master at Arms (Military Police). She enters bootcamp in September (possibly earlier) for 7 weeks just outside of Chicago, then another 7 weeks in whats known as A & then followed by additional time in a D school both in San Antonio where she’ll receive a wide range of training including:
· Antiterrorism techniques
· Armed sentry techniques
· Crime prevention
· Criminal Law
· Communications
· Firearms deployment and physical restraint techniques
· Hand to hand combat
· First aid
Once in her position as Master at Arms her duties will include:
· Conduct waterborne security patrols and interdiction operations (ops)
· Conduct US customs inspections
· Conduct base access and entry control ops
· Implement flight line security standards
· Conduct law enforcement ops
· Provide oil platform security
· Conduct river and coastline security ops
· Provide proactive security to High ranking officers and government officials
· Supervise K-9 explosive and narcotics detection missions
· Organize and train security force personnel
· Conduct Crime Prevention Programs
· Operate Brigs (Jails)
· Perform weapons and funds escorts

Cassie is very excited about her new path forward. She can't wait to get started. Tara, Dave and myself couldn't be more proud of Cassie and the choice she has made to better her life and serve our country while doing it. Cassie mentioned the fact that "she missed Military School".... and as well as she did there, there's little doubt she'll excel in her new role as Master at Arms.
